Challenge Papers: Submissions should be position papers, challenging papers, and papers presenting first results. The papers must be up to 6 pages length (LNCS style, including all figures and references), and must include a short abstract.

Submission: Both paper types should be submitted via the EDAS system at: http://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=9217

Shadow TPC: IWSOS will have a Shadow TPC. You can opt-in for review by the Shadow TPC when submitting your paper in EDAS. The Shadow TPC has absolutely no influence on the paper selection process, it is a training for PhD students and junior faculty members. Here you can find information on what the Shadow TPC is, how it relates to the official TPC and more. For authors, opting-in for Shadow TPC review has the benefit of receiving additional reviews for their papers, and you help training the next generation of researchers!

Proceedings: The proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in their Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. At least one of the authors of each accepted paper must attend IWSOS to present the paper.
